Executing the /reload command (you should never do this) won't apply the settings to worlds that are already loaded. Note that after changing any settings for Anti-Xray you have to restart your server. To understand how per world configuration works please read this first. Recommended Paper Anti-Xray settings by stonar96 GeneralĪnti-Xray can be configured per world in the paper.yml configuration file. Personally, Server.pro has been quite good for me - and I haven't had any issues using them the only bad thing is that you need to purchase their pro plan for mysql servers.❗ This has been moved to the official PaperMC docs ❗ THis becomes quite problematic when you have a developer and you want them to start working but they can't as they do not have access to the server files or the abillity to restart the server - something which they will have to do as they add and remove plugins. Shockbyte was a decent host in my opinion, HOWEVER, their customer service is absolutely attorcious, you as the owner cannot make sub-users for the console/ftp for instance you have to CONTACT SHOCKBYTE and have them respond to your ticket to make a sub-user account. A lot of plugins use protocol lib for managing or manipulating packets. Honestly, like said - if a host tells you to remove plugins - that too major dependency plugins its a big red flag.

I am glad to see that you are considering switching hosts - A year or two ago I was doing some development work for a server which was hosted on pebble host - and its disappointing to hear that the issues with ping and server speed seem to still be persisting a host should do better. (happy to be corrected on the second Glad we helped you solve your problem for now - but now for the big event but note that paperspigot does remove certain game mechanics from spigot in order to optimise it. Or use paper spigot which i believe on top of its lag optimisation I believe has anti xray baked into it. Without using protocol lib you have two options - settle for an alerts based xray system that listens for BlockBreakEvent (and checks if the block broken was an ore or spawner etc) and sends staff a notification if it exceeds a set threshold. As for Anti-Xray - I am almost certain there is no true anti x-ray plugin as anti-xray works by using protocol lib to intercept and modify packets sent to a client from the server this means the data the player(client) recieved is modified to make all the ores invisble unless the player would normally be able to see them. Poor internet connection from your end also could cause an increase in ping as ping is just a query to a network. Your ping is will be linked to your distance to your hosts server and your own internet connection as well not just the plugins you have installed.
